About Let’s Learn
We’re a language teaching company based in Munich and Zagreb. We’ve been teaching since 2009, initially with a focus on the Croatian language in person and online.
In 2019 we set ourselves the goal of using our experience to bring the same high level of teaching to other languages which – like Croatian – are less “mainstream” and typically neglected by larger online language companies.

Our four rules for language learning
Active speaking
We encourage you to speak Croatian as soon as possible. Making mistakes is an important part of learning, and it’s important to practise speaking and build confidence.
Guided self-study
We provide interactive tools & resources so you can keep learning between lessons: from online quizzes to extra assignments and Croatian language audio/video content.
Expert teachers
We hire only qualified and experienced teachers, provide great training and monitor their progress through regular quality assessments and student feedback.
Student insights
We ask you and your classmates for regular feedback on how well we’re doing – and use your feedback to guide decisions and maintain quality throughout our school.

Meet the team behind Let’s Learn

Maja
School Manager
Maja has taught in our team since 2018 and became language school manager at the beginning of 2022.
Her hidden talent is playing the piano and her passion is theatre and she loves to find new ways of applying drama methodology to teaching languages.

Sara
German Learning Coordinator
Sara has been teaching since 2016 and became learning coordinator for German-speaking students in 2024.
She wanted to study languages since she was young, driven by a desire to build a relationship with relatives who lived in Germany.

Andrea
English Learning Coordinator
Andrea joined our team in 2019. She teaches individual and group lessons in English and in 2023 became our learning coordinator for English-language learners.
Andrea has wanted to be a teacher since first grade, and – we’ve been told – gained early work experience playing teacher with her stuffed toys.

Mateja
Materials & Quality Assessment
Mateja has been part of the team since 2021. She teaches individual and group lessons in English, and in 2024 took on the further role of materials and quality assessment.
She gives baccalaureate preparation courses for her local municipality and has experience leading and performing in children’s theatre activities.

Laura
Recruitment & Training
Laura has taught in our team since 2021, teaching individual lessons in German and in 2024 taking on the role of teacher recruitment and training.
She volunteers in an autism association and leads a variety of workshops with autistic children. In her free time she also trains Thai boxing.

Barbara
German Learning Coordination
Barbara has been part of the team since 2018, teaching individual and group lessons in German, and later as learning coordinator for German-language students.
She has been signed up as a volunteer firefighter since she was a little girl, and having passed several exams is officially a first-class firewoman.
History of Let’s Learn
2009
We began teaching one-to-one Croatian lessons in Munich, Germany.
In response to student interest, later that year we also started teaching group courses.
2010
As the school grew we launched our first website with the name Školica. Around this time we also began to develop our own teaching materials – a process which went on for the next few years.
2013
We organised our first Croatian language holiday in Crikvenica which was a big success.
2015
We started both individual and group lessons online. Around this time we also rebranded the school to Let’s Learn Croatian and launched a new website.
2017
Our base of operations shifted from Munich to Zagreb, and from this moment on we stopped teaching face-to-face and officially became an entirely “online” language school.
2019
We began research and planning to set up additional online language schools to teach Polish, Greek and Ukrainian.
2020
We launched separate websites for each of these three new languages.
We hired our first full-time language teachers in each country …
… and started teaching Polish, Greek and Ukrainian!
2024
We launched separate websites for each of these three new languages.
We moved to a single combined brand Let’s Learn and relaunched our website. During the year we entirely updated our teaching concept: developing new materials, revising our syllabus and creating new interactive learning content and an online study tool.
